Ten Questions For the Challenger and the Incumbent.
1: What is your opinion of the current disagreement between the city and the police department regarding office space at the Justice Center? And your solution?
2: The Municipal Court made the paper for the handicapped ticket it upheld. The press about this incident led to a "nicer" policy at court for some in the time since that fine was imposed, but the real issue is how to restrict that kind of injustice. Even if the fine was within a statute, it was and is clearly wrong. What is your plan to provide healthy, moral leadership? And more importantly, what is your plan to curb arbitrary government?
3: Issues and questions abound in Lebanon about the city water management and fees. Much has been said about the perceived unfairness in the way water is paid for in Lebanon. What is your solution to the heavy costs? And what vision do you see for future municipal services and fees?
4: The police force in Lebanon has been accused of being incompetent, biased, excessive and abusive. Rather than dismiss these facts, let's debate them. Or better yet, how can you provide better service and protection from the police force? And how do you correct the status quo of gross policing?
5: The last bit here is to tell us your 2 most ambitous goals for the position of mayor. Tell us what you see in your term as mayor for the town and its people.
Thank You for your time and y'all have a great night! RLB
