Winter's Lament

I hear the Russians are looking

for a few good men

cold around here

until winter's end

I know you are filled with bore

and Democratic charm

there's somethin' messy

out on the farm

I was there at Central Linn

when they built

the town again

They say it'll last 'til Kingdom Come

I hear Danny Boy is running for Governor

tell him this

We are done voting

for such a pompous ass.

I hear the Russians
